Integra
First Worn at AnimeIowa 2003

I thought this would be an easy costume to pull off. I was wrong. Apparently there's more to lapels than just sewing interfacing to the front of a jacket and then pulling it back. Also, I had to use a hot, rayon-y fabric for the outside of the suit, as it was the only thing I could find that was the right shade of sickly green. (Not that you can really see it in most of the photos, in which the suit seems to appear dark brown. Oh well.) The cross lapel pin, by the way, was made from a strip of unmelted friendly plastic (is there anything that stuff CAN'T do?) and the cigar was real. (Too bad the hotel wouldn't let me light it. Woulda looked cool. Feh. The REAL Integra wouldn't have taken that kind of crap from ANYONE...*Sigh*...)
