ORDERING INFORMATION

If you wish to commission something from me or ask for a quote, here are a few things to remember:

PAYMENT MUST BE MADE HALF IN ADVANCE. - The first half before the item is made and the rest once the item is finished, approved, and ready to ship. ( If you sound trustworthy, I can arrange to have you send me the money via an installment plan, but this is usually something I'll only arrange for repeat customers.)

I WILL NEED AT LEAST 4 WEEKS TO FINISH THE ITEM. Certain smaller, simpler items I might be able to finish sooner. However, larger, more complex items, such as suits of armor, may take up to 3-6 months to complete. It is a good idea to arrange it so you receive the item at a week or two before you actually need it, so if any issues arise, there will be time to address them.

IF YOU NEED TO HAVE THE ITEM BY A CERTAIN DATE, LET ME KNOW. A number date, please. "I need it by next "Bish-o-con" is not nearly as helpful as "I need it by January 4th 2006."

I ACCEPT PAYPAL, MONEY ORDERS, (and cash sent at your own risk.) Work will not begin on an item until the first payment has been received. (So it is in your best interest to send in your payment as soon as possible. I cannot guarantee that the work will be finished on time if you wait 2 weeks or more before sending in the money.) HERE'S A LIST OF THINGS I WILL NOT DO:

Any weapon or prop which is over 4 feet long. (Unless you plan on picking it up in person.) I've often found that any profit I've made from producing a huge oversized prop is quickly wiped out by the labor, trouble and time required to pack the damn thing in such a way so that the shipping service will not destroy it. Do not even ASK me to ship an item that's over 4 feet in length. My answer will be a resounding NO.

Any tight-fitting spandexy costume. Unless you live close enough to come in for regular personal fittings.

I will not ship anything resembling a weapon overseas. Some countries have very strict custom restrictions and they don't look kindly on people trying to sneak weapons past their borders. Even obviously fake-looking fantasy weapons.
