I made this costume as part of a Hellsing group I was in for AnimeIowa 2003.

For the suit: I had to make the entire suit pattern from scratch (and pretty much re-invent the lapel collar while I was at it.) I also had to use a hot, rayon-y fabric for the outside of the suit, as it was the only thing I could find that was the right shade of sickly green. (Not that you can really see it in most of the photos, in which the suit seems to appear dark brown. -_-)

The cross lapel pin was made from a strip of unmelted gold friendly plastic which I cut to shape and glued a pin-backing to.

The tie I made out of blue satin, and the white undershirt was a thrift-shop find, (as were the gloves and the shoes.)

The cigar was a Swisher Sweet Cigarillo. (Would've been a nice, authentic touch if I had been able to get my hands on some Henri Winzermans, but there are only so many things I'll do for the sake of cosplay, and bankrupting myself isn't one of them.)

I liked the wig in particular, which a lot of people mistook for my real hair. I was also able to reuse the wig in my BT costume.
