First Worn at AnimeIowa 2004



Thought she was the coolest character of the series, what with her intelligence and beauty. She may not have been the most moral member of the cast, (which is why a lot of people don't like her), but she DID have the prettiest outfit (and I DO have her eyes) so I felt compelled to cosplay her...

The dress was deceptively simple. I made it in two parts, a top and a skirt, and the only fabric I could find that was the right shade of green was a thin lining (which I wound up having to back with a thicker fabric.) The chest jewel I made by cutting a plastic Christmas ornament in half and gluing it to a plastic setting.

The gray polonnaise skirt around the waist was the hardest item to make, as I had to drape it in such a way that it fell with a three-tiered fold. (I wound up having to remake it several times until the desired effect was achieved.)

The armored cuffs and headband were made from craft foam covered with plastic sheeting, as were the green circular earrings.

I was able to reuse the wig from my Integra costume to recreate BT's distinctive waterfall o' hair.

I made the staffhead and bottom tip using foam and plastic, and a 3" green plastic Christmas ornament. The shaft of the staff I made out of a cheap plastic broom handle I bought at Saver's...

A thrift shop belt with a square buckle and a pair of black boots completed the ensemble...
