This was probably the most elaborate thing I've ever done. I used .020 styrene to make the armor, fluting it by bending the plastic with my hands. Each individual "feather" had to be bent and glued into place.
The gold ornaments were made using styrene with a raised design made from thermoadhesive.
The hardest part of any costume like this are the legs which have to be made so that they're both form-fitting AND able to move.
