I thought this would be an easy costume to pull off. I was wrong. For one thing, I had to make the entire suit pattern from scratch (and pretty much re-invent the lapel collar while I was at it.). Also, I had to use a hot, rayon-y fabric for the outside of the suit, as it was the only thing I could find that was the right shade of sickly green. (Not that you can really see it in most of the photos, in which the suit seems to appear dark brown. -_-) The cross lapel pin, by the way, was made from a strip of unmelted friendly plastic which I cut to shape (is there anything that stuff CAN'T do?) and the cigar was real. (Swisher Sweet cigarillos, I believe. Would've been a nice, authentic touch if I had been able to get my hands on some Henri Winzermans, but there are only so many things I'll do for the sake of cosplay, and bankrupting myself isn't one of them.) I liked the wig in particular, (which a lot of people mistook for my real hair.) Damn, I look good as a blonde, don't I?
