A nice, simple commission. (Well, deceptively simple. The cape had a strange, sheathlike shape to it and a weird collar. And all of the badges and buttons had to be made and painted by hand.) The most challenging aspect of this costume, by far, was the black and white loop collar, which I made out of plastic and foam, and which I designed to be pinned onto the costume as a separate item. Sewing the black shiny trim down the front and around the curved edges of the cape was a bit of a challenge too, I recall...
