The person commissioning this specifically requested vinyl material for the coat. Certain types of vinyl are much harder to sew than others so I had to look around for one that could actually be machine-sewed and top-stitched. The gloves were made from spandex, covered with leather and studs. The buckles which go around the arm were made from vest clips which I found at JoAnn's and the gold rings which go around the fingers were pipe sealer rings which I bought at a hardware store. The knee armor was made from cutting sections from a silver 5" plastic Christmas ornament to which I attached straps and buckles.
