I knew sooner or later I would get a request to do a character from this series, as ubiquitous as it is. The design is based partly on the above artwork and on the work on another cosplayer whose pictures were sent to me as reference. (Parts of the costume were purely of my own design as well.)

This was my first attempt at creating a leotard and I think I pulled it off rather well. The skirt I made using metallic fabrics, (and it was designed as a separate garment which could be slipped on over the leotard.)

The wings I made out of leaves of craft foam covered with sequin fabric and edged with white feather trim. The leaves were sewn to a piece of balsam wood to which I attached thin elastic straps which would go around the wearer's shoulders. The wings were, as such, lightweight and easy to move around in.

Most of the accessories I made out of painted craft foam, plastic Christmas ornaments and various other materials.

The gloves were satin, storebought gloves to which I attached a quilted roll of fabric. (Thankfully, I was spared having to make the boots that were to go with this costume, as it's hard finding white boots that don't look like hooker boots. -_-)
