I liked this series and I think Ross is undercosplayed, hence the reason I decided to cosplay as this character. (I also wanted to take a shot at making a state alchemist's uniform, just to see how hard it would be.) I tried to make the costume as proportional as I could (and not make the waistband too low. A lot of people who make this uniform have a tendency to do that.) I went with silver trim and vinyl, instead of gray (a purely aesthetic decision, neither one is more "right" than the other.)

The toughest part of this costume had to be the skirt (aka, the buttcover), as I had to make it flare out a little and cling to my admittedly hard-to-fit hips at the top. The rest of the costume wasn't too hard to figure out. I used sculpey to create the neck pins (which I really should post a decent picture of one of these days) and I bought a pair of footkillingly-stiff leather wellington boots to complete the uniform. (Wish I could have found softer boots, but when you have feet the size of bread loaves, you take what's available.-_-)
