This is a costume I made for my friend Will. (Will did a few things on it himself: selecting and cutting the fabric, and buying the wig, and he engineered the wings as well.)

All of the gold trim you see on the cuffs, hem borders and boots was made using hotglue, which I then painted over with gold acrylic. The large gemstones I cast out of resin. (I hotglued most of the feathers to the wings as well. The feathers Will bought from http://www.rainbowfeatherco.com/.

This costume almost didn't make it to AnimeDetour's masquerade because of Will's decision to hold off construction on most of the wings until the final week before the con. (Of course he knows NOW how insanely, suicidally dunderheaded that is. At least he'd better because I'm not working that hard for a costume again...-_-)
